BPM, lost in a Wild World  E-mail
Just Blogging - Shaking Enterprises

BPM has never achieved a long-term success, failing to find a loyalty customer. BPM is a good idea, technologically sound. But if it can't find a customer, there's no business case to support it.

Vendors are still looking for new features to achieve success, re-thinking their business like a SaaS or a PaaS. But, at the end, there's no business case.

SaaS is a business-niche oriented technology, e.g. sales lead management, analytics, or monitoring. PaaS is oriented to the IT customer, looking outsource the infraestructure.

.... and BPM ?.... as always, in the middle .... no business case for direct customer, and too complex for the IT customer.
