Facebook has officially become an OpenID relying party.

My dream of a Unique Login is going to be a reality.

It means that if you wish to register for Facebook using another OpenID provider, you can. Also you can associate any account that supports OpenID (as an authentication provider). For example, Google Gmail is an authentication provider.

Of course, nobody is leaving each proprietary authentication provisioning method (e.g. Facebook Connect, Microsoft Windows Live ID).

We have to wait for Microsoft to see the next move. Because, you know, It´s not there:
